DONATIONS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the data on my old device safe?
As soon as we have your redundant IT equipment in our possession, you can rest assured we securely wipe and destroy all previous data.
Can I donate desktops?
Yes, ALL redundant I.T. equipment (except printers) is welcome (e.g. laptops, desktops, tablets, cables, routers, old mobile phones etc.).
What about cables?
Yes, we will recycle all your old cables and, in some cases, can reuse them.
Does my device have to be working?
Ideally, yes, but if it isn’t, you can still donate it to us, and we can repair it, or it can be used for spare parts.
Can you collect directly from me?
Unfortunately, not at the moment.
What if I live outside your collection areas?
You can bring your equipment and drop it off with us in Llangefni (address details below), or you could parcel it up securely and send it to us through a carrier service (make sure you use a tracking service to ensure you have peace of mind that your equipment has been delivered to us).
What if I have received a donated laptop and it’s not working?
Return the laptop to the organisation from whom you received the donation, and they will liaise with us directly to repair or replace it.
I am a local business and have high volumes of I.T. equipment to dispose of – can you collect it?
Yes, we will collect from businesses – don't hesitate to get in touch with us to arrange a bespoke collection service.
