We help combat the digital divide in North Wales through assiting chartities who support individuals by providing a computer refurbishment programme. Computers are still not the norm for everyone, and our program assits activities such as. better learning at home, accessing council services, banking, training and job applications.
During Covid it highlighted the digital divide, and that whilst most of the country was getting to grips with WhatsApp, FaceTime and Zoom, a significant section of our community were disadvantaged with not having the means to access services that were rapidly becoming essential to be connected to the outside world.
Your donated devices have been life-changing for the many individuals and families within the communities of North Wales. Children have continued their education; individuals could communicate with friends and family online and get essential items delivered to their door.
Post Covid we still need your help to bridge the Digital Divide in North Wales and help those pupils, families and individuals in need. With your help, we can reduce social isolation and open doors for them to exsist online, and communicate, train and become connected with every day life.
Perhaps you received new laptops, tablets or mobiles for Christmas, or you may have old devices you don't need anymore?
We depend on businesses/people like YOU to ensure that redundant, or commercially obsolete computers can be refurbished quickly and provided to those in need NOW.
